Paired with Genelec 1031A and legendary Yamaha NS-10M monitors, decisions made here translate flawlessly to cars, headphones, vinyl, and streaming.
The Live Room & SoundstageSpacious Live Tracking & Rehearsal Stage
Our spacious live tracking room is built with floating concrete slabs to isolate mechanical vibration and non-parallel boundary walls to eliminate flutter echoes. It features a complete performance stage equipped with a Midas Verona 48-channel console, full drum kit backline, guitar amp isolation, and stage lighting—making it equally suited for full live band tracking, rehearsals, and multi-cam video shoots.

About Studio Live USA & David Mikeal
Every tracking session, multitrack mix, and master at Studio Live USA is personally produced and engineered by David Mikeal.
Originating as a signed A&M Records recording artist, David brings four decades of hit-making arrangement and engineering experience. His credentials include engineering work on Don Henley’s Billboard #1 album Cass County, alongside mentoring the next generation of audio engineers through the Recording Connection Audio Institute.
To complement David Mikeal’s production standards, Studio Live USA was acoustically designed and engineered by renowned studio architect Niels Kastor.
Featuring non-parallel bass trap boundary walls, floating concrete floor slabs mounted on neoprene acoustic isolators, and custom quadratic wood diffusers, the tracking room provides an ultra-flat acoustic soundfield that allows David to track and mix with surgical precision.
